1) Eligibility (17+)
The Service is intended for users aged 17 and older. By using the Service, you represent that you are at least 17 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.
2) The Service
Goris is a travel packing and planning companion that helps you organize luggage with smart categorization, track packing progress in real time, and create personalized travel cards to capture memories.
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time. We do not guarantee that the Service will be available at all times or without interruptions.
3) Accounts
You may need an account to use certain features. When creating an account, you agree to provide accurate and complete information (such as name, username, and email) and keep it up to date.
You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and for all activities under your account. If you suspect unauthorized access, contact us promptly.
4) Your Content
You may submit, upload, store, or generate content through the Service (for example, packing lists, travel card text, photos, and support messages) (“User Content”).
You retain ownership of your User Content. You grant Goris Team a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, process, display, and transmit your User Content only as necessary to operate, provide, and improve the Service and to comply with law.
You represent and warrant that you have all rights necessary to submit User Content and that your User Content does not violate any law or third-party rights.
5) Prohibited Conduct
You agree not to:
- use the Service for unlawful, harmful, or abusive purposes;
- attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its systems;
- interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service;
- upload malware or other malicious code;
- reverse engineer or attempt to extract the source code except where prohibited by law;
- use the Service to infringe intellectual property or privacy rights of others;
- misuse reporting, support, or contact channels.
6) Privacy
Our handling of personal information is described in our Privacy Policy (provided separately). By using the Service, you acknowledge that your information will be handled as described there.
7) Intellectual Property
The Service, including its software, design, text, graphics, and trademarks, is owned by or licensed to Goris Team and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
Subject to these Terms, we grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service for your personal, non-commercial purposes.
8) Feedback
If you provide feedback or suggestions, you grant us the right to use them without restriction or compensation to you.
9) Third-Party Services
The Service may interoperate with third-party services or content. We do not control third-party services and are not responsible for them. Your use of third-party services may be subject to their own terms and policies.
10) Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE”. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, or that any content generated or organized by the Service will be accurate or suitable for your particular needs.
11) Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, GORIS TEAM WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF (OR INABILITY TO USE) THE SERVICE.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SERVICE OR THESE TERMS WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO USE THE SERVICE IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM, OR USD $50 IF YOU PAID NOTHING.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in that case, the above limitations apply to the maximum extent permitted by law.
12) Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Goris Team from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or related to your use of the Service or your User Content, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of another.
13) Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if we believe you violated these Terms or if necessary to protect the Service, users, or our rights.
Upon termination, your right to use the Service will stop. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will survive (including, without limitation, Intellectual Property, Disclaimers, Limitation of Liability, Indemnification, and Dispute Resolution).
14) Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated Terms with a new effective date. Your continued use of the Service after the update becomes effective means you accept the updated Terms.
15) Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction of our primary place of business, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
16) Dispute Resolution and Binding Arbitration
Any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to the Service or these Terms will be resolved by binding arbitration, rather than in court, except that either party may seek injunctive or other equitable relief in a court of competent jurisdiction to prevent actual or threatened infringement, misappropriation, or violation of intellectual property rights.
The arbitration will be administered by a recognized arbitration body and conducted on an individual basis. You and Goris Team agree that class actions and class arbitrations are not permitted.
